I draw cartoons which are distillations of my musings and experiences. They are designed to make the viewer laugh and then hopefully consider why they’re laughing.

I like to make cartoons that people will come back to; although my method is technically simple (line drawing), the images tend to have quirks or ideas that you can return to and find details that were previously missed. The work seems to appeal to different ages and gender without relying on a specific cultural heritage to understand the point.

A bespectacled French lady once called my cartoons, ‘Philosophical Skits’, which coming from a French lady I took to be a great compliment.
