Rose Ellis

Rose Ellis has been making things from mud and clay since early childhood. She makes sculptures of animals, birds and human figures which take form in a constantly evolving way.

Recently she has been exploring different ways of Raku firing her work, which she feels creates an integrity between the shape and the surface of the piece.

Rose is also a printmaker, using lino, perspex and card to create images of trees, flowers, birds and animals.
